Victoria Barbarito

Victoria Barbarito is a queer Mexican-American documentary filmmaker whose work centers around familial relationships, transformations in nature, and systems of care. She is also a DTI certified postpartum doula dedicated to bodily autonomy and healing through food. Since graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film & Television, she pursues healing-driven documentary storytelling alongside birth work. Her professional projects and pursuits strive to meet at the intersection of these two passions. She is a winter 2024 Guest Resident at the Woodward Residency in Ridgewood, Queens where she is in development for a short documentary. She currently resides on occupied Lenape territory in Brooklyn, New York.
